EVA celebrates Easter and gets support!!!
On Easter Day EVA celebrates the resurrection of Jesus! The pastors of the Frauenkirche give one-third of the collection in the service on Ester Day for EVA. EVA says THANX!!!!!!!

EVA is getting ready!
When the new year starts we also want to have our programme leaflet ready - so you all get to know what's going to happen at EVA's peace academy in Dresden's Frauenkirche. So at the moment there is lots of talking, layouting and proof reading going on. And if you ever worked with distribution lists you'll know that this can keep you busy for quite a while...

Don't worry, our website is safe and absolutely virus-free. But the EVA activists aren't. Unfortunately, there are colds here and sore throats there. But thanks to a little help from mum's homespun remedies and, yes, even the pharma industry we'll be fine in no time!

One of the topic discussed most during the last meeting of the programme group "Spirituality" ("PG Spirit" for short) was how to make the eyes of all EVA participants shine. One facinating idea: a light installation inside the Frauenkirche. What do you think?

As EVA goes international she'll need some English webpages - so she currently spends her time brushing up her language skills. Let's wait and see what's going to happen! And by the way: It might be high time to brush up your English, too - if we all want to get talking. Luckily, apart from mouths there are hands and feet and faces and, and, and to communicate...

EVA takes shape!
More and more pieces of the jigsaw puzzle come together - but of course there is still a way to go until the programme is finally complete. Our programme groups are working at full speed, there's a first draft for the festival leaflet and lot's of phone calls are being made - nobody is twirling thumbs!

EVA's parents came o visit!
Yes, it was about time for another visit of the "wrinklies": Several board meetings which link all the involved partners (the Frauenkirche Foundation, the Evangelical Church of Germany, the Evangelical Youth of Germany and the Lutheran Church of Saxony) took place. All "relatives" assured themselves that EVA is doing fine. Unfortunately, EVA's pocket money was not increased. ;-)

EVA thinks and has our brains rack!
Our three programme groups got back in action to set up the programme for the upcoming Whitsun days. They discuss questions of spirituality, plan all social events and come up with lots of ideas for the cultural side of things. Dreams, ideas and hopes are voiced - and by trying to make them real all time and financial budgets come out of balance. However, we think that it's well worth all efforts!

EVA goes international!
Next week already we'll send out invitations to people from all parts of Europe to come and join us for EVA's Peace Academy in the Frauenkirche Dresden. Their views and experiences will make a definite difference to the 2008 festival - this time, EVA really aims to be an international meeting place that kicks of friendships that last much longer than the few Whitsun days.

EVA moves in!
Where to? Well, to a wonderfully shaped house called Frauenkirche. True, EVA2008 also took place at the church, but this time we want to invite you much more INTO this very special building with all its stories and emotions. Don't be put off by all the baroque splendour - there will be a feel for the fact that the church is only fivce years old, so literally very young at heart.

EVA sleeps on a ship!
The earlier you sign up the better: Make sure to be among the first to register in order to be able to sleep on the river Elbe. We can reserve a cabin for you and your friends on a ship that was turned in a youth hostel! If you want you can dream like a sea dog, eat like a ship's cook and afterwards explore the Frauenkirche like a landlubber.
